I’m an educator by day and an artist by night. I have been creating art all my life. I live in eastern North Carolina with my darling husband and 2 beautiful feline fur babies. My current interests are art journaling, mixed media, scrapbooking, making cards and photography. I hope to share my love of art with you and inspire you to create everyday!

Jade, you have a brand new blog! Congratulations! And so happy to see you are an “educator by day and an artist by night.” Me, too! I am a preschool teacher (4-5 year olds), and even though I love being with the kids, I love getting home to work on my art! What a life!

Thanks so much for following me and replying on my new blog. 🙂 I have a lot to learn, but I’m enjoying the process. I teach English as a Second Language to 5-10year olds. Nice to meet a fellow teacher. After work I play with photography as well as play in my art journal.

Yeah!! Im so glad you picked NC. I love the state but the weather is sporadic. North Carolina doesn’t have the snow shoveling as you know but the weather does change drastically. Glad to meet you!!
