International Copyright laws protect all of M. C. Escher’s work. So I was only able to take a picture of the painted walls at the entrance to the exhibit.
M.C. Escher was a Dutch Artist known for his optical illusions. He was a draftsman, book illustrator, tapestry designer, and muralist, but his primary work was as a printmaker.
At the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh,”The World’s of M. C. Escher” can be viewed until January 24. 2016. On display you will find more than 130 woodcuts, lithographs, wood engravings, and mezzotints, as well as numerous drawings, watercolors, wood blocks, and lithographic stones never before exhibited, The Worlds of M. C. Escher surveys the Dutch graphic artist’s entire career, from his earliest print to his final masterpiece.
